  1. World’s Highest Bungeejump

In Africa I did the highest bungee jump of the world Bloukrans Bridge Bungy – 216m. We were traveling from through the Tsitsikamma area of South Africa’s Garden Route. Friends of mine were willing to do the bungee jump and they were very excited. I just had a surgery on my knee, and I was not allowed to jump. My doctor in the hospital and my mom told me before I left the Netherlands – you need to promise us you’re not jumping because of the stretch of your knee. So I promised….

Once we were there – I asked someone working at the company can you also tied my on my hips instead of my knee. Yes of course we can was the answer…. I asked – but really – are you sure, or do you just want to make money? Well 10 minutes later I was jumping….. Very very very weird because normally you jump face down, but I just did a bomblet jump in the air….. and normally on the highest point you have your feet together, but I was running in the air. It was a great adventure. Unfortunately, I lost the DVD with photos and videos :(.

  2. Paragliding Lake Atitlan

January 2018 I’ve been to Guatemala for 1 month for studying Espanol. One think that was on my list before entering the country was Paragliding….

I did my first Paraglide experience with Andrés Bracamonte. It was THE BEST! Up in the air I was getting a little bit nauseous, so didn’t do any scary tricks, but just me in my zen-yoga mode ; silent enjoyer.
